Welcome back to another whine post about my microphone, the way I talk in my videos, the amount of noise coming out of my nose and the rest (its black friday, so people are having days off). On a personal note, I will just clarify that I am fine. I have fun while making videos and I think that some people take Youtube (as a platform) way to serious being a free platform. I will also add, if I wanted to be a professional music teacher talking in English (which is not my native language since I was 4) I would have chosen a different career path.
The case and point is this, a lot of people take free stuff for granted and in the progress there are some people (I call them morons, just being on the offensive side) that want to have a high quality standard for free. Because well, these people don't really care about how they absorb the content anyway. Not to mention the amount of time that is being spend while making things the best way it can be done. But lets not go there either.
I will also add, I cannot please everyone their needs. If you think complaining on my youtube channel because you :
- do not like my way on how I pronounce things
- do not like the way my microphone sounds
- do not like the way I breath
- do not like me in general for what ever reason there is out there
I would like suggest to do the following:
- leave my youtube channel
- get of this website
- just piss off out of my entire life and move on.
The reason for posting this is because since a few times I have been having long time discussions about everything I do. And to be honest, you can fire any complaint about the way I do things... I have a news flash for you in case you haven't noticed it yet by reading this post (article, or other comments out there made by myself on the internet): I personally do not care about your complaints about the way I pronounce words, the amount of times I breath, the amount of loudness I breath, the way I talk in my microphone, the way my microphone is setup, the amount of stuff that is in the background, the way my hair looks etc... etc...
The thing is, there is a huge difference between being a professional teacher (which I am not... because I am not) or some dude that just does these things for fun and want to pass on his knowledge to others and have fun in the process. There are major differences there. And to be honest, sometimes you may have a professional teacher that does certain things you may not like... would you tell him to stop breathing? Ow wait...
Anyhow, the internet has been a place where some people tend to post whatever the hell they want to throw online on any platform because they think that it is 'anonymous'. On that note, I can add that I do not really care about the random John Doe that wants to post a random 'hate' post on my stuff while never had a voice before on my channel. In most cases they start with sentences like :
"I have been following your channel for a long time... but ... I want to complain now"
"I have been watching a lot of you videos.... but ... insert random rant here..."
If my personality, my speech pattern, my wall of texts annoy you... go somewhere else instead (I don't care, by all means... piss off). Welcome to Youtube.
If you take in to account how many people watch my stuff on a daily basis, I can accept the fact that I can not and will not please every single person (nor will I start doing that). There are people who are in my inner circle who I speak to a lot and there are random guys who are just there trying to talk me down for some reason. The nice thing is that I personally do not care about these type of tactics.
The reason why I make videos is for the audience who is enjoying the content I personally create. Sure I will admit it could have been made much more professional, by all means. But it is all meant as a home-brew setup. Because this is the type of audience I am trying to trigger. And it is not meant as sterile video tutorial where it totally lacks humanity by reading scripts.
My videos, nor my content is not written for people like Armin van Buuren, Skrillex or Tiesto. It is more for people who come home, want to start getting things done or want to have inspirational topics about things done in a program like Reason and want to have fun in the process while doing so.
And its the last part in that sentence that is so important.
Have a nice weekend!
