Hi, I am Hydlide of Reason experts
As of 2018, I will try to do my best to post all the videos I am doing on this site as well. Since I have rather busy doing stuff I sometimes just forget to post these videos on this site as well. But anyway. Today's video I am going to post is about the best reverb in Reason and which ones I personally use myself. While I know there are plenty of VST reverb out there, I am skipping those for this video and mainly focussing on reverb that is in the form of Rack Extensions (or native Reason devices). The main reason is that there are tons of VST reverb out there and owning all of them... would be kind of pointless, to be honest.
But because there is also the vague assumption that Rack Extensions might be doomed (since Reason 9.5) I do think there are plenty of alternatives out there as a native plugin rather than using 100 VST reverb and consume the rack with those plugins. If you think about it, I still believe people can't say that I am using the RV-7 in my mixes at times. Just saying.
I might also mention that the following video is my personal honest opinion (because I am biased). I don't feel the need to shove a feather up developers their asses all the time. There are plenty of thought processes why I am backing up my opinion in this video. It could have been done in 2 minutes time, but since it is an opinion based video about Reverb I am dragging this over 18 minutes.
